Influences of Tamiflu for patients with the Mexican flu
Mexican flu was infecting pigs for months but at one moment it infects human beings (March 2009). From this moment, Mexican flu is a pandemic (declared by World Health Organization (WHO).
Gilead Science had already produced a neuraminidase inhibitor, Tamiflu, what�s approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 1999. This medicine is used in the avian flu period (2004-2006).
The question of this literary study is: �Influences of Tamiflu for patients with the Mexican flu�.
On the basis of this study is produce a flyer with all the results of the subjects as influences of Tamiflu, Resistance of Tamiflu, Reaction Tamiflu with the Human Body and of course basic information of Mexican flu.
Mexican flu is a pandemic what killed 3,330 patients and infected 315,144 patients in 7 months. This flu is an infection in your airways as cough, sore throat, difficult breathing is possible symptoms. But there�re more symptoms as fever, headache, nausea and diarrhea.
Tamiflu is an antiviral drug for treatment and prevention of Influenza A and B. Tamiflu has an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) of Oseltamivir. The treatment of Tamiflu is 2 capsules daily for 5 days and for prevention is 1 capsule daily for 10 days. But like very medicine, Tamiflu has side effects like bronchitis, visual disturbance and heart rhythm abnormalities. And Tamiflu has resistance like every medicine, because a primer at position 274 can be replaced by another amino acid (Histidine). At this way, the primer is Oseltamivir resistance.
The reaction between a human cell and the virus is an entering of the virus into the human cell. The virus will be multiplied in the cell so the duplicates can enter other cells. The function of Tamiflu is preventing the virus for breaking free of the cell.
