Platform guidelines

Knoowy is an online platform where students can help each other with their studies. We encourage students to share documents, complete practice questions, and engage in conversation to help each other with study assistance. As a result, many people come into contact with each other online on Knoowy. To ensure that every user feels at home on Knoowy, we have drawn up these guidelines. These guidelines indicate how a user should behave on Knoowy and what the rules are regarding the use of the various services.

General

• Be polite to other users.
• Try to help each other where you can.
• The platform has been developed to help each other with their studies and not to commit fraud.

Communication

• It is not permitted to approach each other with the intention of insulting.
• It is not permitted to advertise for other parties on Knoowy.

Documents

• It is only allowed to upload documents that do not violate anyone's copyright. These could be:
  • Homemade documents
  • Documents where the copyright holder has granted you the right to distribute them publicly
• Users are responsible for ensuring that the documents they upload comply with legal requirements and guidelines. Publication of copyrighted material is not permitted.
• You are not allowed to upload content that may be offensive to other people based on ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, age or sexual orientation.
• It is not allowed to upload the same document multiple times.
• You may not distribute documents that you purchase on Knoowy. You may only use the document yourself. Forwarding to other students is prohibited.
